Why we started The Paws Club

The Paws Club was born out of love; and a little bit of frustration.

We’re dog people. The kind who plan holidays around the dog, feel guilty leaving them for a few hours, and talk to them like housemates. As life picked up pace again after lockdown,  offices reopened, plans restarted,  we realised just how hard it had become to find dog care we truly trusted. Now that remote working isn't guaranteed, dogs who were once used to companionship all day now face long hours alone.

We didn’t want to rely on kennels, overcrowded fields, or impersonal apps where just anyone can sign up and standards are vague. We wanted something small, human, and local. A professional community we could rely on, not just a service we could book.

That’s why we started The Paws Club. For people like us, who think of their dogs as family and want them looked after that way. Calm, considered, safe, and full of love. We knew there were kind, capable, local people with spare time and garden space but just didn't know where to start. The Paws Club makes it easy for them too.

The Paws Club is a way of building something better,  for our dogs, for our neighbourhoods, and for the people who care as much as we do.
